Putting on clothes when my skin is still wet, staying out past 9pm, people who say ‘oh we MUST do lunch’, but don’t really mean it, cats, and cat hair, waterloo station and drunk people 🙂
-Clothing that isn't soft or that's made out of synthetic fibers (like polyester).
-Noise that is loud (including drunk people: they always seem to need to speak even louder than they usually would) or that is repetitive (like a clock).
-Socks.
-Waiting in line whether it be in person, on the phone or in a car in traffic.
I'm not a fan of synthetic fibers either... And I know you don't like socks! Never have, never will! lol! Thanks for sharing your dislikes Millie :) xox
How fun this is, dear Michelle, to be able to express my dislikes!!! Mind you, I'll have to make an effort to limit myself to 3 to 5 things! I'll proceed with a list like you.
1 a) Bad phone etiquette i.e. people who speak to me using their speakerphone, whether it is a business call or a personal one. (I'm speaking into a landline phone.) It is very frustrating when it is a personal call and the person calling is very well aware that I have processing issues. It's downright rude!
1 b) Bad listening skills: people texting or looking at their cell phone while we are engaged in a conversation--or are we?! Actually, people who do not make eye contact.
1 c) People who cut you off during a conversation while you are making efforts to be concise. They don't even apologise while doing so! I hate the phrase "I'll cut you off right there."!
1 d) Hating myself for not being able to respond quickly or to have a comeback while being cut off during a conversation.
2. Being called BRIDGET or BRIDGETTE instead of Brigitte (soft "g" without the "d" sound attached to the soft g and second French "i" sound after the g-- not "è" like Suzette, Colette, Georgette!).
3. Mornings.
4. Bad drivers.
5. Not being able to express my dislikes by people who claim to be positive. We're not in La La Land here!
Dear Brigitte (please know that I'm pronouncing your name the correct way!),
How delightful it is to read your dislikes! It's been so fun reading everyone's comments too. Our dislikes aren't always funny or pleasant, but the act of saying them out and loud is such a liberating and enjoyable experience. Thank you for sharing yours :) Oh, how I understand the frustration you feel when you can't respond quickly or come up with the perfect comeback. I too suffer from this. Je n'ai aucun sens de la répartie! Et je rumine ensuite sur toutes les choses que j'aurais pu répondre après. Merci ma chère Brigitte et bonne fin de semaine! xox
Annie, I love your list! Ça m'a fait bien rire, merci pour le partage! OMG I'd forgotten about summer camp registration (already!! **crying emoji face**). I hope you managed to lock down the spots you wanted for this summer :)

Nicole, thank you so much for sharing! Love your list, oh how I relate to staying out past 9 PM. I laughed out loud at Waterloo station! :)
I absolutely HATE putting clothes on if my skins isn't completely dry. So glad to find out I am not alone in this.

Ah oui ! Noise hurts! (It can also be downright rude.)
